While the language is a bit fruity, it’s always nice to see the reaction of people coming across the PsiXpda for the first time. David Williams is just one more person discovering the powerful package that is our pocket computer.
Was looking at the Sony UX1XN, and came across something better and cheaper. This is hot
Now that the world is flying again, British Airways customers picking up the Business Life magazine will be treated to a look at the PsiXpda. Jonathan Margolis takes a look at our pocket computer and wonders “why go for an iPad when you can have the small and perfectly formed PsiXPda?”
Why indeed.
The thing that I as a regular business traveller have craved for years is a truly pocketable, usable, practical PC with a QWERTY keyboard on which you can type properly.
We’re not long back from proudly exhibiting the PsiXpda at The Gadget Show in Birmingham, and it was a delight to meet lots of old friends and introduce them, and many new friends! to our pocket computer.
Frequency Cast, one of the UK’s leading technology podcasts spent some time with Paul on the stand, talking about the computer. That interview is now available at the Frequency Cast website:

Bouncing around the halls of the South by Southwest Interactive Conference, the PsiXpda is raising a lot of eyebrows both for the small size of the machine and the connectivity options that the powerful pocket computer has. With bluetooth and wifi for local access, and the unlocked 3G for mobile data wherever you are.
One of the advantages of the PsiXpda is the combination of a full desktop computer into a small package that is no larger than a paperback novel. The benefits of this size can be found in many places, but none more so than when travelling.
Daniel Robinson has been putting the PsiXpda through its paces on the V3 website, and his review of the pocket computer is comprehensive and positive:
Overall, we were impressed with the PsiXpda…The £449.99 including VAT price also looks steep compared to a netbook, but some phone handsets cost as much, and it should be borne in mind that the comparably sized OQO pocket computer left buyers with little change out of £1,000.
