OS and Software

 The exact software specification will vary as we test new software, but will largely consist of :

The drivers necessary to use all inbuilt features (screen, sound, Wi-Fi, touchscreen, etc.), and

We are currently testing Windows 7 on the PsiXpda. While we have been largely successful, we are awaiting resolution of several driver issues. Once these have been resolved, and we are satisfied that they will present no problems to the user, we will update our website.

We currently offer Windows XP Pro and Ubuntu 9.04. Due to issues beyond our control with the Linux screen drivers, we strongly recommend that the user does not upgrade the install Ubuntu, or install another distro. Once this problem has been resolved, we will update our website.
